Victory! Surfrider, along with a coalition of organizations, worked with Charlotte City Council to include an exemption in Charlotte’s Overgrown Vegetation Ordinance for wildlife habitat, pollinator gardens, or otherwise "naturalistic" landscapes that promote ecological function.
